Role Overview
As Retail Operations Manager (Process Leader), you'll drive operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, associate leadership, financial outcomes, and store safety. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, interview, coach associates; manage onboarding, reviews, labor, mentoring, and task delegation. Address grievances, ensure training, and foster engagement.
- Store Experience: Oversee pet healthcare, habitat maintenance, inventory processes, merchandising, BOPIS/SFS programs, vendor relations, and sales trend analysis. Maintain standards, safety, and respond to customer concerns.
- Expense Management: Achieve P&L targets, analyze reports, control labor/supplies, and leverage resources for business growth.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership, pet care knowledge, inventory expertise, financial acumen, and problem-solving skills. Passion for pets, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to safety/compliance are essential.
