Role Overview
As Retail Operations Manager (Process Leader) in our Edmond, OK store, you'll drive store performance through shared leadership. Accountable for merchandising, inventory, pet care, associate development, financial outcomes, and maintaining a safe, organized space. This full-time role offers dynamic responsibilities in a pet-loving retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Recruit, coach, and develop associates; manage staffing, training, onboarding, and performance reviews. Delegate tasks, resolve grievances, and foster engagement while ensuring pet safety protocols.
Store Operations & Pet Care
Oversee pet health (feeding, cleaning habitats for birds, reptiles, fish); validate inventory processes, merchandising, and planograms. Handle Buy Online Pick Up In Store, vendor relations, and sales trend analysis.
Financial & Compliance
Drive P&L results, control shrink and expenses, analyze reports for improvements. Maintain store standards, safety, and policy compliance; respond to pet parent concerns and manage openings/closings.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail leadership experience, pet care knowledge, and skills in team management, inventory control, and financial oversight. Strong communicators who thrive in fast-paced environments with flexible schedules excel here.
