Role Overview
The Retail Operations Manager (Process Leader) shares responsibility for driving store performance through merchandising, inventory, pet care, and team leadership. Accountable for financial outcomes, safety, and an exceptional store experience, this full-time role ensures our vision, mission, and values are upheld daily.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, onboarding, and performance reviews; delegate tasks and foster engagement.
- Store Operations: Oversee pet care for store-owned animals, inventory accuracy, merchandising, and Buy Online Pick Up In Store processes.
- Financial & Expense Management: Analyze trends, control shrink and expenses, drive sales through merchandising decisions.
- Experience Excellence: Maintain safety, cleanliness, vendor relations, and respond to pet parent concerns; lead opening/closing procedures.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring retail leadership experience, pet care knowledge, strong analytical skills for P&L and inventory, and a passion for team development.
