Role Overview
The Retail Operations Manager (Process Leader) shares responsibility for driving store performance through merchandising, inventory, pet care, and team leadership. Accountable for financial outcomes, safety, and a welcoming store environment, you'll open/close the store, coach associates, and uphold PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, interview, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, resolve grievances, delegate tasks, and foster engagement.
- Store Experience: Oversee pet health/habitats, inventory processes (receiving, stocking, counts), merchandising, BOPIS/SFS, vendor relations, and safety compliance.
- Expense Management: Analyze reports to hit sales/shrink targets, control labor/supplies, and leverage home office resources for continuous improvement.
Experience & Skills
