Role Overview
As Retail Operations Manager (Process Leader) in Jackson, Michigan, you'll drive store performance through shared leadership. Accountable for merchandising, inventory, pet care, associate development, financial outcomes, and maintaining a safe, organized store. This full-time role offers dynamic responsibilities in a pet-loving retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Recruit, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, onboarding, and performance reviews. Delegate tasks, ensure training compliance, and foster engagement through recognition.
Store Operations & Pet Care
Oversee pet health maintenance, habitat standards, inventory processes, merchandising, and Buy Online Pick Up In Store execution. Maintain vendor relations, backroom organization, and safety protocols.
Financial & Business Management
Analyze trends to hit sales and shrink targets, control expenses, and identify growth opportunities. Lead opening/closing and resolve escalated customer issues.
Experience & Skills
Seeking retail leaders with team management experience, pet care knowledge, inventory expertise, and P&L accountability. Strong communicators who excel in fast-paced environments, prioritize safety, and drive results through coaching and process improvement.
