Role Overview
The Retail Operations Manager (Process Leader) shares responsibility for driving store performance through merchandising, inventory, pet care, and team leadership. Accountable for financial outcomes, safety, and upholding PetSmart's vision, this full-time role ensures a safe, organized store while delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, onboarding, and task delegation to meet business needs.
- Store Operations: Oversee pet care maintenance, inventory accuracy, merchandising, and Buy Online Pick Up In Store processes.
- Financial Management: Analyze trends, control expenses, achieve sales/shrink targets, and optimize P&L performance.
- Experience Excellence: Maintain store standards, vendor relations, safety protocols, and respond to pet parent concerns.
