Role Overview
As Retail Operations Manager (Process Leader), you'll drive operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, associate leadership, financial results, and a safe store environment. Lead with passion to uphold PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy while delivering exceptional pet parent experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, interview, coach associates; manage onboarding, reviews, labor, mentoring, and task delegation. Ensure training on operations and pet safety; address grievances and celebrate engagement.
- Store Experience: Oversee pet healthcare, habitats, inventory accuracy, stocking, planograms, merchandising, BOPIS/SFS, vendor relations, and cleanliness. React to sales trends, maintain safety, and handle openings/closings.
- Expense Management: Drive P&L goals, analyze reports for shrink/sales, manage labor/supplies, and leverage home office resources.
Experience & Skills
