Role Overview
The Retail Operations Manager (Process Leader) shares responsibility for operational excellence, driving merchandising, inventory, pet care, and financial results while leading teams and maintaining a safe, organized store.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, coach, and develop associates; manage labor, resolve issues, delegate tasks, and foster engagement.
- Store Operations: Oversee pet health and habitats, inventory processes, merchandising, BOPIS/SFS programs, and sales trend analysis.
- Financial & Safety: Achieve P&L goals, control expenses, ensure policy compliance, and maintain a safe environment for associates, pets, and customers.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail leadership experience, pet care knowledge, strong organizational skills, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for team development. Proficiency in inventory systems, merchandising, and customer service is essential.
