Role Overview
The Retail Operations Manager (Process Leader) shares responsibility for driving operational excellence, upholding PetSmart's vision, and delivering on merchandising, inventory, pet care, and financial goals. This full-time role involves leading associates, maintaining a safe store environment, and ensuring top-tier pet parent experiences in our Woburn location.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people through recruiting, coaching, onboarding, performance reviews, and task delegation to meet business needs.
- Oversee pet healthcare, including feeding, cleaning habitats, and reporting sick pets for all store-owned animals.
- Manage inventory processes: accuracy, receiving, stocking, counts, rotations, and planograms.
- Drive P&L results by analyzing sales trends, controlling shrink, labor, and expenses.
- Maintain store standards, vendor relations, safety, and compliance while handling escalations.
