Role Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) drives operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and store leadership. You'll uphold PetSmart's vision, mission, and values while maintaining a safe, organized store and leading associates to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach associates; delegate tasks; lead when on duty; handle grievances and celebrate successes.
• Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, sales trends, and cycle counts; operate POS and ensure policy compliance.
• Pet Care Excellence: Maintain pet health standards, care for new arrivals/sick pets, and transport to vets as needed; support positive pet parent experiences including online orders.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Full-time flexibility required (evenings, weekends, holidays). Key skills include computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail for visually appealing stores. No direct reports, but guide associate development and provide performance feedback.
