Role Overview
As Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead), share responsibility for operational excellence. Uphold PetSmart's vision by managing merchandising, inventory, pet care, store operations, and associate leadership. Act as leader on duty, ensuring a safe, organized store and exceptional pet parent experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train, coach, and mentor associates; delegate tasks; provide feedback for reviews; resolve grievances; celebrate achievements.
- Store Operations: Optimize merchandising, manage inventory audits and trends, handle POS/cash, execute openings/closings, support online orders.
- Pet Care: Maintain standards for cleaning/feeding; monitor health; quarantine new arrivals; transport sick pets to vet.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Full-time flexibility essential. Excel in communication, organization, composure under pressure, and visual merchandising. Computer proficiency required. No direct reports, but guide associates and act as leader when needed.
Physical Demands
Role involves standing, lifting, pet handling in a dynamic retail environment.
