Role Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) shares responsibility for driving operational excellence. This full-time role involves merchandising, inventory management, pet care, store operations, and leading associates to uphold PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. You'll act as Leader on Duty, ensuring a safe, organized store and exceptional experiences for pet parents.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach sales associates; delegate tasks; provide feedback for performance reviews; recognize achievements to boost engagement.
• Store Operations: Execute merchandise strategies, manage inventory audits and sales trends, handle POS transactions, and maintain compliance with policies.
• Pet Care Excellence: Maintain pet health standards, including cleaning, feeding, quarantine protocols, and immediate vet transport for sick pets.
• Customer Focus: Support online order pickups and ensure positive experiences for associates and pet parents.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings, full-time flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but you'll guide associates and provide performance feedback.
