Role Overview
As Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead), you'll drive operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and associate leadership. Oversee daily store functions, ensure safety and organization, and act as leader on duty. Full-time role requiring schedule flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train and coach associates on merchandise handling, delegate tasks, provide feedback for reviews/promotions, resolve grievances, and boost engagement.
- Store Operations: Optimize sales via merchandising, manage inventory audits/cycle counts, handle POS/cash, execute opening/closing procedures, and maintain policy compliance.
- Pet Care Excellence: Uphold standards for cleaning, feeding, health checks; quarantine new arrivals, report/transport sick pets, and support pet parent experiences including online orders.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Key skills: strong communication, organization, composure under pressure, computer proficiency, and passion for visually appealing store layouts. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide performance input.
Physical Demands
Role involves standing, lifting, pet handling in a dynamic retail environment.
