Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) shares responsibility for driving store performance through merchandising, inventory, pet care, and team leadership. Based in Carmichael, California, this full-time role involves overseeing associates, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring a premium shopping experience. No direct reports, but you'll guide development and act as leader on duty.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Train and mentor associates on product knowledge, delegate tasks, provide feedback for reviews and promotions, resolve grievances, and boost engagement through recognition.
Store Operations & Pet Care
Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, sales trend analysis, POS operations, and online order fulfillment. Maintain pet health standards—cleaning, feeding, quarantine, and vet transport—while upholding policies for a safe, organized store.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience, full availability including evenings/weekends/holidays, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. Passion for pets and customer focus essential.
