Role Overview
As Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead), you'll share responsibility for store operations, merchandising, inventory, and pet care. You'll guide associates, ensure a safe environment, and uphold PetSmart's vision, mission, and values. Full-time role with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays required. No direct reports, but you'll mentor teams and act as leader on duty.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train and coach associates on product knowledge, delegate tasks, provide feedback for reviews/promotions, and boost engagement through recognition.
- Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, cycle counts, POS transactions, and online order fulfillment for seamless pet parent experiences.
- Pet Care Excellence: Maintain pet health standards—cleaning, feeding, monitoring sick pets, quarantine protocols, and vet transport as needed.
- Compliance & Safety: Execute opening/closing procedures, uphold policies, and foster an organized, visually appealing store.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Proficiency in computers essential. Passion for pets and customer focus a must.

- Handle store opening/closing, POS transactions, and ensure policy compliance
- Facilitate positive experiences for pet parents with in-store pickups and online orders
- Act as leader on duty, delegating tasks and resolving associate concerns
