Role Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) shares responsibility for driving operational excellence, upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. You'll manage merchandising, inventory, pet care, store opening/closing, associate oversight, and maintain a safe, organized store. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, acting as leader on duty when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train and mentor associates on product knowledge, delegate tasks, provide feedback for reviews/promotions, resolve grievances, and boost engagement.
• Store Operations: Optimize merchandising for sales, conduct inventory audits/cycle counts, manage POS/cash handling, ensure policy compliance, and handle online order pickups.
• Pet Care Excellence: Maintain pet health standards (cleaning, feeding, water), monitor new arrivals/sick pets, quarantine protocols, and transport to vets as needed.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Key skills include strong communication, organizational prowess, composure under pressure, computer proficiency, and passion for pets. No direct reports, but you'll guide associates and provide performance input.
