Role Overview
As a Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) in our Denver, Colorado store, you'll drive operational excellence while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. This full-time role shares responsibility for merchandising, inventory management, pet care, store operations, and leading associates to ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for pets and pet parents.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Support sales associates with training on product knowledge and presentation. Facilitate onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback. Delegate tasks, lead when on duty, address grievances, and celebrate team achievements to boost engagement.
Store Operations & Pet Care
Execute merchandise strategies, manage inventory audits, operate POS systems, and handle online order fulfillment. Maintain pet care standards including cleaning, feeding, health checks, and vet transport as needed. Ensure compliance with policies, conduct cycle counts, and create visually appealing store layouts.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Full-time flexibility required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Key skills include computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and meticulous organization for optimal store presentation. No direct reports, but guide associates and act as leader on duty.
