Role Overview
As a Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) in our Dublin, Ohio store, you'll drive operational excellence while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. This full-time role shares responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, store leadership, and maintaining a safe, organized space. Act as leader on duty, guide associates, and ensure exceptional experiences for pets and pet parents.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train and mentor associates on product knowledge, delegate tasks, provide feedback for performance reviews, and boost engagement through recognition.
- Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, cycle counts, POS transactions, and online order fulfillment.
- Pet Care Excellence: Uphold standards for cleaning, feeding, health checks; quarantine new arrivals and transport sick pets to vets as needed.
- Store Standards: Execute opening/closing procedures, ensure policy compliance, and cultivate a visually appealing, safe environment.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience, full availability including evenings/weekends/holidays, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide performance input.
