Role Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) drives operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and store leadership. You'll uphold PetSmart's vision, guide associates, and ensure a safe, organized store while optimizing sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach sales associates; delegate tasks; lead as leader on duty; handle grievances and celebrate achievements.
• Store Operations: Execute merchandising strategies, manage inventory audits and trends, operate POS systems, maintain compliance with policies.
• Pet Care Excellence: Oversee cleaning, feeding, health monitoring; prepare new arrivals; transport sick pets to vets; ensure positive pet parent experiences including online orders.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Full-time flexibility required (evenings, weekends, holidays). Key skills include computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail for visually appealing stores. No direct reports, but guide associates and act as leader when needed. Physical demands include standing, lifting, and pet handling in a dynamic retail environment.
