Role Overview
As Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead), drive operational excellence by managing merchandising, inventory, pet care, and associate oversight. Uphold PetSmart's vision while ensuring a safe, organized store and exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train, coach, and mentor associates; delegate tasks; lead as manager-on-duty; recognize performance.
- Store Operations: Optimize merchandising, manage inventory audits, handle POS/cash, execute openings/closings.
- Pet Care: Maintain standards for feeding, cleaning, health checks; handle sick pets and new arrivals.
- Customer Focus: Support online orders, ensure positive pet parent experiences.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years retail supervisory experience, full-time flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports but guide associates and act as leader when needed. Physical demands include lifting and pet handling in a dynamic retail setting.
