Role Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) drives operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and store leadership. You'll guide associates, ensure a safe environment, and uphold PetSmart's vision, mission, and values in a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach sales associates; delegate tasks; lead as leader on duty; handle grievances and celebrate achievements.
• Store Operations: Execute merchandising strategies, manage inventory audits, operate POS systems, and maintain compliance with policies.
• Pet Care Excellence: Oversee cleaning, feeding, health checks; prepare new arrivals; transport sick pets to vets; ensure positive pet parent experiences.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Full-time availability (evenings, weekends, holidays) required. Key skills include computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail for visually appealing stores. No direct reports, but guide associate development and provide performance feedback.
