Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) shares responsibility for driving operational excellence in our Houston, Texas store. This full-time role focuses on merchandising, inventory management, pet care, associate oversight, and maintaining a safe, organized space. Act as leader on duty, ensuring compliance with company vision, mission, values, and policies while delivering exceptional experiences for pets and pet parents.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train and mentor associates on product knowledge, delegate tasks, provide feedback for performance reviews, and celebrate achievements to boost engagement.
- Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, conduct inventory audits, handle POS transactions, and execute opening/closing procedures.
- Pet Care Excellence: Maintain pet health standards, monitor new arrivals during quarantine, report sick pets, and ensure safe environments.
- Customer Focus: Support online order pickups and create positive experiences for pet parents.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Must have full-time flexibility, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Proficiency in computer apps and passion for pets required. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide feedback to leadership.
