Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) drives operational excellence in our Houston, TX store. Shared responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, store opening/closing, associate oversight, and maintaining a safe, organized environment. Act as leader on duty to uphold our brand promise.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train and mentor associates on product knowledge, delegate tasks, provide feedback for reviews/promotions, resolve grievances, and boost engagement.
- Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, sales trend analysis, POS/cash handling, and compliance with policies.
- Pet Care Excellence: Ensure cleaning, feeding, health monitoring; handle sick pets and new arrivals per quarantine protocols.
- Customer Experience: Support online order pickups and create positive interactions for pet parents.
Experience & Skills
Requires 2+ years retail supervisory experience, full-time flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills for visual merchandising. No direct reports but guide associates and provide performance input.

Responsibilities

- Oversee store opening/closing, POS transactions, and compliance with policies
- Maintain pet care standards including cleaning, feeding, health checks, and vet transport
- Facilitate positive experiences for pet parents with in-store pickups and online orders
- Act as leader on duty, delegate tasks, and resolve associate concerns
