Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) drives operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, store opening/closing, associate oversight, and maintaining a safe, organized store. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, acting as leader on duty when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Guide sales associates on merchandise handling and product knowledge; facilitate training, onboarding, mentoring, coaching; delegate tasks; lead as leader on duty; handle complaints and recognize engagement.
- Store Operations: Optimize sales through product placement, seasonal displays, and promotions; manage inventory audits, sales trends, and replenishment; operate POS systems; ensure policy compliance; handle online order pickups.
- Pet Care: Maintain cleaning, feeding, water for pets; monitor health, report sick/injured pets, transport to vet; prepare new arrivals post-quarantine.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience, full-time availability, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills for visually appealing store layouts. No direct reports, but guide associate development and provide performance feedback.

- Maintain pet care standards including cleaning, feeding, health monitoring, and vet transport as needed
- Ensure positive experiences for pet parents with in-store pickups and online orders
