Role Overview
As Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead), you'll drive operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and associate leadership. Uphold our vision while maintaining a safe, organized store. Act as leader on duty, guiding teams without direct reports but providing performance feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train associates on product knowledge, delegate tasks, mentor for growth, handle grievances, and celebrate achievements to boost engagement.
- Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, sales trend analysis, POS transactions, and online order fulfillment for optimal sales and customer experience.
- Pet Care Excellence: Ensure pet health through cleaning, feeding, quarantine protocols, sick pet reporting, and vet transport. Maintain commitment standards for all store pets.
- Compliance & Safety: Execute opening/closing procedures, uphold Policies & Procedures, and foster a visually appealing, safe environment.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years retail supervisory experience, full-time flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. Physical demands include lifting and pet handling in a dynamic retail setting.
