Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) shares responsibility for driving operational excellence in our Littleton, Colorado store. This full-time role focuses on merchandising, inventory management, pet care, associate oversight, and maintaining a safe, organized space. Act as leader on duty, ensuring compliance with company vision, mission, values, and strategies while delivering exceptional experiences for pets, pet parents, and associates.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train and coach associates on merchandise handling, product knowledge, and standards. Delegate tasks, provide feedback for reviews/promotions, address grievances, and celebrate achievements to boost engagement.
- Store Operations: Manage product receiving, placement, seasonal displays, and promotions. Conduct inventory audits, analyze trends for replenishment, operate POS systems, and handle cash accurately.
- Pet Care Excellence: Maintain pet health standards—cleaning, feeding, monitoring sick/injured pets, and transporting to vets. Prepare new arrivals post-quarantine and support online order pickups.
- Store Standards: Lead opening/closing procedures, ensure policy compliance, and foster a safe, visually appealing environment.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Must have full-time flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills for merchandising excellence. No direct reports, but guide associates and act as leader on duty.
