Role Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) shares responsibility for driving operational excellence. You'll oversee merchandising, inventory, pet care, store opening/closing, associate guidance, and maintaining a safe, organized store aligned with PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach sales associates; delegate tasks; lead when on duty; handle complaints; recognize top performers.
• Store Operations: Execute merchandise strategies, manage inventory audits, operate POS systems, ensure policy compliance, and support online order fulfillment.
• Pet Care: Maintain pet health standards, clean habitats, feed/water pets, quarantine new arrivals, and transport sick pets to vets as needed.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Full-time availability (evenings, weekends, holidays) required. Key skills include computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail for visually appealing stores. No direct reports, but you'll guide associates and act as leader on duty.
