Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) drives operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and store leadership. You'll uphold PetSmart's vision, mission, and values, ensuring a safe, organized store while leading associates and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train and coach associates on product knowledge, delegate tasks, provide feedback for performance reviews, and act as leader on duty to resolve issues and boost engagement.
- Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, cycle counts, POS transactions, and online order fulfillment while maintaining compliance with policies.
- Pet Care: Oversee cleaning, feeding, health monitoring for store pets, quarantine new arrivals, and transport sick pets to vets as needed.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience, full-time flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide performance input.
