Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) shares responsibility for driving operational excellence in our Monroe, NY store. This full-time role focuses on merchandising, inventory management, pet care, associate oversight, and maintaining a safe, organized space. Act as leader on duty, ensuring compliance with company vision, policies, and pet care standards while delivering exceptional experiences for pets and pet parents.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach associates; delegate tasks; provide feedback for performance reviews; recognize achievements to boost engagement.
- Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, cycle counts, and sales trend analysis; handle POS and cash transactions.
- Pet Care Excellence: Maintain pet health standards—cleaning, feeding, quarantine; identify and transport sick pets to vets; ensure safe environments.
- Customer Focus: Support online order pickups, uphold brand promise through opening/closing procedures and policy adherence.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Must have full-time flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills for visually appealing store layouts. No direct reports, but guide associates and act as leader when needed. Physical demands include lifting and pet handling in a dynamic retail environment.
