Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) shares responsibility for driving operational excellence. This full-time role involves merchandising, inventory management, pet care, store opening/closing, associate oversight, and maintaining a safe, organized environment. Act as leader on duty, ensuring compliance with company vision, policies, and pet welfare standards.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train and coach associates on product knowledge, delegate tasks, provide feedback for reviews/promotions, resolve grievances, and boost engagement.
- Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, sales trend analysis, POS transactions, and online order fulfillment.
- Pet Care: Maintain cleanliness/feeding for store pets, monitor health, quarantine new arrivals, and transport sick pets to vets.
- Store Experience: Uphold visual standards, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional service to pet parents.
Experience & Skills
Requires 2+ years retail supervisory experience, full availability including evenings/weekends/holidays, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills. No direct reports but guide associates and provide performance input. Physical demands include lifting and pet handling in a fast-paced retail environment.
