Role Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) shares responsibility for driving store performance, merchandising, inventory, pet care, and associate leadership. You'll uphold PetSmart's vision while maintaining a safe, organized environment and optimizing the pet parent experience, including online order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train, coach, and mentor sales associates; delegate tasks; provide performance feedback; lead when on duty; recognize achievements.
• Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, cycle counts, and sales trend analysis; handle POS and cash transactions.
• Pet Care Excellence: Maintain cleaning/feeding standards; monitor pet health; prepare new arrivals; transport sick pets to vets as needed.
• Customer Focus: Ensure positive experiences for pet parents with in-store and online services; uphold brand standards and safety protocols.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Must have full-time flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills for visual merchandising. No direct reports, but guide associate development and provide feedback.
