Role Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor drives operational excellence, managing merchandising, inventory, pet care, and associate leadership. You'll uphold PetSmart's vision, ensure a safe store, and act as leader on duty, sharing opening/closing responsibilities in a fast-paced retail setting focused on pet parents.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train, coach, and mentor sales associates; delegate tasks; provide feedback for performance, promotions, and discipline; celebrate achievements to boost engagement.
• Store Operations: Optimize merchandising with product placement, seasonal displays, and promotions; conduct inventory audits and cycle counts; manage POS and cash handling.
• Pet Care: Maintain standards for cleaning, feeding, and health; quarantine new arrivals; transport sick pets to vets; ensure positive experiences for online orders and in-store pets.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Full-time flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays required. Excel with strong communication, organization, composure under pressure, and computer proficiency. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide performance input.
