Role Overview
As Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead), you'll share responsibility for store operations, merchandising, inventory, and pet care. Lead associates, ensure a safe/organized environment, and uphold PetSmart's vision, mission, and values. Full-time role with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train/mentor associates, delegate tasks, provide feedback, resolve grievances, and boost engagement.
- Store Operations: Manage merchandising, inventory audits, POS/cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and online order support.
- Pet Care: Maintain standards for cleaning/feeding, monitor health, quarantine new arrivals, and transport sick pets to vets.
Experience & Skills
Requires 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Key skills: computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but guide associates and act as leader on duty. Physical demands include lifting and pet handling in a dynamic retail environment.
