Role Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) drives operational excellence in our Ottawa store. This full-time role shares responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, associate oversight, and maintaining a safe, organized environment. Act as leader on duty, uphold our brand promise, and ensure exceptional experiences for pets and pet parents.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train, coach, and mentor sales associates; delegate tasks; provide feedback for performance reviews; recognize achievements to boost engagement.
• Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, cycle counts, and sales trend analysis; operate POS systems; execute opening/closing procedures.
• Pet Care Excellence: Maintain pet health standards—cleaning, feeding, quarantine; monitor for illness and transport to vet; support online order pickups.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Must have full-time flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills for visually appealing store layouts. Passion for pets is a plus—no direct reports, but guide associate development.
