Role Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor drives operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and store leadership. You'll uphold PetSmart's vision, guide associates, and ensure a safe, organized store while acting as Leader on Duty when needed. Full-time role requiring evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach sales associates; delegate tasks; provide feedback for performance reviews; recognize achievements to boost engagement.
• Store Operations: Optimize merchandising, manage inventory audits and replenishment, handle POS and cash accurately, execute opening/closing procedures.
• Pet Care Excellence: Maintain pet health standards—cleaning, feeding, quarantine; report and transport sick pets; ensure safe experiences for pets and parents.
• Customer Focus: Support online pickups, resolve issues, and deliver positive experiences upholding brand promise.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Key traits: schedule flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail for visually appealing stores. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide performance input.
