Role Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor drives operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and associate leadership. You'll uphold PetSmart's vision, act as leader on duty, and ensure a safe, organized store that delights pet parents.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train, coach, and mentor sales associates; delegate tasks; provide feedback for performance reviews; recognize achievements to boost engagement.
• Store Operations: Execute merchandise strategies, manage inventory audits, handle POS and cash transactions, oversee opening/closing procedures.
• Pet Care Excellence: Maintain pet health standards, care for new arrivals and sick pets, ensure quarantine protocols, and transport to vets as needed.
• Customer Experience: Support online orders, maintain store standards, and foster a positive environment for associates and pet parents.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Full-time flexibility required (evenings, weekends, holidays). Key skills include strong communication, organization, composure under pressure, computer proficiency, and passion for pets. No direct reports, but guide associate development and act as leader on duty.
