Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) drives operational excellence in our Port Jefferson Station store. You'll share responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, associate oversight, and maintaining a safe, organized space. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, acting as leader on duty when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train and mentor associates on product knowledge, delegate tasks, provide feedback for reviews/promotions, and boost engagement through recognition.
- Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, cycle counts, POS transactions, and online order fulfillment while upholding policies.
- Pet Care Excellence: Ensure pet health through cleaning, feeding, quarantine protocols, and immediate vet transport for sick/injured animals.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Proficiency in computers and passion for pets required. No direct reports, but guide associate development and provide performance input.

- Facilitate positive experiences for pet parents with in-store pickups and online orders
- Act as leader on duty, delegate tasks, and resolve associate concerns
