Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) shares responsibility for driving operational excellence in our Quakertown, PA store. This full-time role focuses on merchandising, inventory management, pet care operations, associate leadership, and maintaining a safe, organized store while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Guide sales associates with training on product knowledge, delegate tasks, mentor for growth, provide feedback for reviews/promotions, and lead as leader on duty.
- Store Operations: Execute merchandise strategies, manage inventory levels/audits, handle POS/cash transactions, oversee opening/closing, and ensure policy compliance.
- Pet Care: Maintain standards for cleaning, feeding, health monitoring; prepare new arrivals; transport sick pets to vet; support positive pet parent experiences including online orders.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience, full-time flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills for visually appealing store layouts. No direct reports, but guide associate development and act as leader when needed. Physical demands include retail environment tasks.

- Ensure positive experiences for associates and pet parents, including online order fulfillment
