Role Overview

As Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead), you'll drive operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and associate oversight. Maintain a safe, organized store while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. Act as leader on duty, guiding teams without direct reports but providing key feedback.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership

Support sales associates with training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching. Delegate tasks, lead when manager is absent, address grievances, and celebrate achievements to boost engagement.

Store Operations & Experience

Execute merchandise strategies, manage inventory audits/cycle counts, handle POS/cash, ensure policy compliance, and oversee opening/closing. Maintain pet care standards—cleaning, feeding, health checks, quarantine, and vet transport. Support online orders for seamless pet parent experiences.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Full-time flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays essential. Excel in computer use, communication, composure under pressure, organization, and detail-oriented store aesthetics. Passion for pets and team development a plus.
