Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) shares responsibility for driving store operations, merchandising, inventory, and pet care while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. You'll lead associates, maintain a safe environment, and ensure exceptional pet parent experiences, acting as leader on duty when needed. No direct reports, but you'll guide development and provide performance feedback.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Support sales associates with training on product knowledge, delegate tasks, mentor for growth, handle grievances, and celebrate achievements to boost engagement.
Store Operations & Experience
Manage merchandise strategies, inventory audits, cycle counts, POS transactions, and online order fulfillment. Oversee pet care (cleaning, feeding, health monitoring, quarantine), store standards, opening/closing procedures, and immediate action for sick pets including vet transport.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Full-time flexibility required (evenings, weekends, holidays). Key skills include computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, organizational detail, and passion for pets. Physical demands involve standing, lifting, and a fast-paced retail environment.

- Facilitate positive experiences for pet parents with in-store pickups and online orders
