Role Overview
As Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead), you'll drive operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and associate leadership. Oversee daily store functions, ensure safety and organization, and act as leader on duty when needed. Full-time role requiring schedule flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train and mentor associates on product knowledge, delegate tasks, provide feedback for reviews/promotions, resolve grievances, and boost engagement.
- Store Operations: Manage inventory audits, sales trend analysis, merchandise setups, POS/cash handling, and online order fulfillment.
- Pet Care Excellence: Maintain pet health standards—cleaning, feeding, monitoring sick pets, vet transport, and quarantine for new arrivals.
- Store Standards: Execute opening/closing procedures, uphold policies/code of ethics, and ensure visually appealing layouts.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Key traits: computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide performance input. Physical demands include lifting and pet handling in a dynamic retail environment.
