Role Overview
As Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead), you'll drive operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and associate leadership. Uphold PetSmart's vision while maintaining a safe, organized store that delights pet parents.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train and mentor sales associates on product knowledge, delegate tasks, provide feedback for reviews/promotions, and lead as manager on duty.
- Store Operations: Manage inventory audits, cycle counts, merchandise placement, seasonal displays, and POS transactions. Ensure policy compliance and positive pet parent experiences with online orders.
- Pet Care: Maintain standards for store pets—cleaning, feeding, health checks. Handle new arrivals, quarantine, sick pet reporting, and vet transport as needed.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience, full-time flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills for visually appealing stores. No direct reports, but guide associate development.
