Role Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) drives operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and store leadership. You'll guide associates, ensure a safe environment, and uphold PetSmart's vision, mission, and values. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, acting as leader on duty when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach sales associates; delegate tasks; provide feedback for performance reviews; recognize achievements to boost engagement.
• Store Operations: Execute merchandise strategies, manage inventory audits, handle POS/cash transactions, and maintain compliance with policies.
• Pet Care Excellence: Oversee cleaning, feeding, health checks; prepare new arrivals; transport sick pets to vets; ensure positive online order experiences.
• Store Experience: Lead opening/closing procedures; optimize sales through displays and replenishment; foster a visually appealing, safe store.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Key skills include strong communication, organizational prowess, composure under pressure, computer proficiency, and passion for pets. No direct reports, but you'll guide associates and provide performance input.
