Role Overview

As Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead), you'll drive operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and store leadership. Uphold PetSmart's vision while leading associates, optimizing sales, and ensuring a safe, organized store. Full-time role requires schedule flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership

Guide sales associates with training, mentoring, and feedback. Delegate tasks, lead when on duty, handle grievances, and celebrate achievements to boost engagement.

Store Operations

Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, cycle counts, and sales trends. Operate POS systems, execute openings/closings, and maintain policy compliance. Oversee pet care including cleaning, feeding, health checks, and vet transport as needed. Support online order fulfillment for exceptional customer experiences.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Key skills: computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, organizational prowess, and visual merchandising talent. No direct reports, but guide associate development and provide performance input.
