Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) shares responsibility for driving store performance through merchandising, inventory control, pet care, and team leadership. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, acting as leader-on-duty to ensure a safe, organized, and customer-focused store.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach associates on product knowledge, task delegation, and performance development; handle complaints, recognize achievements, and lead when managers are absent.
- Store Operations: Manage merchandise placement, inventory audits, cycle counts, POS transactions, and online order fulfillment to optimize sales and compliance.
- Pet Care Excellence: Maintain pet health standards including cleaning, feeding, quarantine protocols, sick pet identification, and vet transport; ensure safe environments for all pets.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years of retail supervisory experience, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Proficiency in computers and full availability are essential. No direct reports, but you'll guide associates and provide feedback to leadership.
