Role Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) drives operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and store leadership. You'll guide associates, maintain a safe, organized store, and uphold our brand promise through opening/closing duties and compliance with policies.
People Leadership
Support sales associates with training on product knowledge, delegate tasks, mentor for growth, provide performance feedback, and lead as the on-duty supervisor. Celebrate achievements to boost engagement and resolve grievances effectively.
Store Operations & Pet Care
Optimize sales via merchandise placement, seasonal displays, and inventory audits. Handle POS transactions, online order pickups, and pet maintenance—including feeding, cleaning, health checks, and vet transport. Ensure pets are healthy post-quarantine and report issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and coach associates on standards and development.
- Manage inventory, cycle counts, and sales-driven recommendations.
- Lead store standards, safety, and customer experiences.
- Oversee pet care operations and compliance.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience, full-time flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but guide associates and act as leader on duty. Physical demands include lifting and pet handling in a dynamic retail setting.
