Role Overview
As a Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead) in Woburn, Massachusetts, you'll drive operational excellence while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy. This full-time role shares responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, store operations, and associate leadership. Act as leader on duty, ensuring a safe, organized store and exceptional experiences for pets and pet parents.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Support sales associates with training on product knowledge and standards. Facilitate onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and feedback for performance reviews, promotions, and disciplinary actions. Delegate tasks, lead when manager is absent, address grievances, and celebrate team achievements to boost engagement.
Store Operations & Pet Care
Execute merchandise strategies, manage inventory audits, analyze sales trends for replenishment. Handle POS, cash transactions, online pickups. Maintain store standards, opening/closing procedures, and pet care (cleaning, feeding, health checks, quarantine, vet transport). Ensure compliance with policies and a positive pet parent experience.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 2+ years retail supervisory experience in customer-focused settings. Full-time flexibility required (evenings, weekends, holidays). Key skills: computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, organizational detail for visual merchandising. No direct reports, but guide associates and provide feedback.
