Role Overview
As Retail Operations Supervisor (Process Lead), you'll drive operational excellence, sharing responsibility for merchandising, inventory, pet care, and associate leadership. Uphold PetSmart's vision while maintaining a safe, organized store. Act as leader on duty, guiding teams and ensuring brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach associates; delegate tasks; provide feedback for reviews and promotions; resolve grievances; celebrate achievements.
- Store Operations: Manage inventory audits, merchandise placement, POS transactions, and online order fulfillment; execute opening/closing procedures.
- Pet Care Excellence: Maintain cleaning/feeding standards; monitor health; quarantine new arrivals; transport sick pets to vets as needed.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years retail supervisory experience, full-time flexibility, computer proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but guide associates and act as leader when needed. Physical demands include retail environment tasks.
