Role Overview
As a full-time Retail Sales Associate (Pet Associate) in Albertville, Alabama, you'll deliver outstanding pet parent experiences, care for live animals, and maintain a clean, safe store. Key Responsibilities
- Drive pet parent satisfaction through greetings, question-answering, online order prep, and seamless checkouts.
- Provide hands-on care for store pets: feed, water, clean habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and administer vet-directed meds.
- Execute merchandising tasks: stock shelves, face products, handle price changes, and promote events like adoptions.
- Maintain safety standards, respond to pet health issues, and support all store areas including services.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization to exceed sales floor standards.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—pet passion is key! We seek strong communicators with schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), composure under pressure, and physical stamina for lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, and animal handling in a lively environment with moderate noise and pet hair.
