Role Overview
Our full-time Pet Associates drive the pet parent experience, from greeting customers to caring for live animals. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet interaction, sales opportunities, and store operations support in a dynamic retail setting. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service in-person, phone, register, and online order pickups.
- Provide daily care for store pets: feeding, watering, cleaning habitats (fish, birds, reptiles, small animals), and administering vet-directed medications.
- Maintain store cleanliness, execute price changes, stock shelves, and recover merchandise to standards.
- Recommend products, services, live pets, and promote events like adoptions and Treats enrollment.
- Ensure safety for associates, pets, and customers; respond immediately to sick/injured pets including vet transport.
Experience & Skills
